Hi, I’ve got a number of systems setup that use the audio output of either a hik ip dome or hik 7608 nvr so that we can talk to site. We set up a pc to monitor the site with a mic via the web browser connection at our office and all worked fine. After moving the pc to a Control room the video and ptz functions are fine but no audio.
The pc is connected to the internet via a router and the site nvr is connected via a mobile router. On all sites the audio works fine using the ivms mobile app and phone mic. The mic on the pc Is giving audio when checked in the pc audio mixer.
Does anyone know of any reasons, ports or even how the audio is transmitted from pc to nvr as we cannot figure out what is different and I think we have the ports opened 554, 5552, 10000, 8000. Are any of these key to two way audio?
It seems obvious that something has changed but we can’t figure out what is causing the issue.
