I have a Ubiquiti G4 doorbell connected to a UDM SE.
BI is getting a stream from the UDM.
rtsp:/192.168.61.1:7447/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
My BI Server and Cameras are on a different VLAN than the UDM (192.168.68.xxx), but the appropriate Firewall Rules are in place for BI Server to see the UDM.
Works great once I learned how to convert the rtsps link provided by the UDM into rtsp that BI can use
All Good!

The issue that occures is that when the AP that the Doorbell is linked to reboots the camera does not show back up in BI.
Nothing is changing with the Doorbell Camera IP. It is the IP that is stored in BI configuration that changes.

rtsp:/192.168.66.2:7447/XXXXXXXXX

F.W.I.W 192.168.66.2 is a honeypot on a different VLAN, but internal to the UDM SE
I go into BI and enter the correct IP and everything goes back to working till the next Firmware update reboots the AP.
Any Ideas???

What BI version are you on?

Several threads that discusses a change BI made with 5.6.2.0 and newer that looks for MAC address and if the device didn't have a static IP address, it has caused issues for some.

5.6.2 - September 23, 2022
5.6.2 - September 23, 2022 The Camera Discovery window now finds MAC addresses along with IP addresses. You also have the option of using the previous ONVIF discovery, or the new full LAN IP and port scan. With this, it should no longer be necessary to use the external website service Advanced...

Blue Iris Configuration changing spontaneously
I have been running Blue Iris for years. Recently two of my Cameras started changing configurations spontaneously. The cameras have an assigned IP address of 10.0.1.213 (TH_Pointing SE) And 10.0.1.215 (THNE) They are configured with that address in Blue IRIS and the cameras are visible for a...

BI changed camera IP addresses
Updated to BI 5.6.2 the other day on one of my BI systems. Last night, the IP addresses of 2 of the cameras was changed in the BI configuration. I usually reserve .50-.200 for DHCP and the addresses in BI was configured for IP addresses in the DHCP range but I would never have put my cameras in...

Thank you for the reply, that looks to be exactlly the cause. Looks like I will have to wait for a disable option, roll back to 5.6.1.3, or just live with it

UniFi Network allows you to fix an IP address to a device in the particular device's settings. Have you tried that?

Alas, no luck with streaming my new G4 Doorbell Pro to Blue Iris. The BI PC can ping the UDM Pro, but the camera never connects. tinker's two images look identical to me. I am on 5.7.9.12. Any suggestions appreciated.

I was hoping to use the UniFi Protect app as well as stream to BI.
