Unable to get motion detect to work on Dahua ip camera

I have set up dahua cameras, 7 analog and 1 ip on my XVR5108HS-I2, all the analog cameras motion detection works fine, but on the 1 ip camera I cant get it to do motion detection.

when i login to the ip camera's admin i have enabled "video detection" under "event".

Another thing ive noticed is that in web service admin, when i go to "AI" > "Parameters" there is only 7 of the 8 cameras in the drop down box.

What could be the reason that the ip camera is the only one that isnt doing the motion detection.

When you say it won’t do MD, what are you basing that on? No email alert? No colored indicator on the playback timeline? Are you certain it’s set to record on the XVR?

Does the IP cam show up on the bottom pane of the registration page of the XVR?
