I am using model DS-2CD2347G1-LU and I cannot get the unattended baggage working under the Smart Events. I've looked at the help file but I am still missing something.
There are 4 buttons, Max Size, Min. Size, Detection Area and Clear. Some of the online help in forums just address the Detection Area and not the Max and Min sizes. As a test, I am trying to set a section in my driveway that should normally be empty. I create a detection area and, after saving it, I go an place a garbage can in that area. I have the camera enabled to send e-mail notifications. I know that is correct because the test works and the Line Cross Detection works. Do I have to use Max and Min Size settings and, if so, how?? As I read it, the Max size should be the maximum size of an object. I have tried selecting the entire screen as well as a small area. No luck. The same with Min Size.
