OK looking to put a few cameras at my parents house and they want them under the eve. However here is the catch they have vinyl siding and they asked/want anything mounted to not screw through the vinyl. Now I know on vertical surfaces you can get nice hooks that can latch onto the vinyl siding for no drill but is there anything similar to that for the underside of an eve?

The underside of the eave is soffit. It is already full of small holes so it can breathe. If you want to tell them you're minimizing the hole size a tad just just something like gyprock screws. Good head size with a smallish hole. The difference between that and a small wood screw is pretty tiny though. If the cam is ever removed then a tiny dot of silicone will plug it. They're worrying about absolutely nothing. It's not like you're drilling holes in their car.
