Unique alert sounds not working

I had a unique sound set up for each camera several months ago but now I can't get anything other than the standard android notification to work. All the notifications are set up the same as when they did work - I have a sound selected in the "configure push notification" window. Any idea why this would stop working or what I can check to get it going again?

More than likely it is on the phone end. I had to go in re-set all the sounds off of default in the settings - apps - BI - notifications
 
So if I go to apps - BI - Notifications, I can click on Notifications but it's just a radio button to turn them on/off and a selection between "allow sound and vibration" and "silent". The only way I can get to an option to set an alert sound is through the app, if I go to settings within BI, I have the option of both default and custom sound notification options. If I click on default, it takes me to a screen where I can select from a list of sounds. If I go to custom sound notification options, I don't get an option to set a specific sound. I tried setting the sound under "default sound notification options" to something other than the default sound but that didn't help.
 
at the bottom of the app notifications on your phone, the last one should be "Notification categories".

Select that then you should be able to change the notification sounds.

If that doesn't work, maybe try deleting the cache and then if that doesn't work maybe try an uninstall and re-install of the app?
