Hi all,
I have a Uniview NVR308-64E-B that will not keep its configuration.
Each time I restart whether it be shutdown with power off or just a normal restart,
I have to enter the factory password, forced to change to new password and all other configs done are lost.
Steps taken to try and sort it out.
Ensured PSU voltages are good.
Coin cell replaced (although I think that is only for the realtime clock)
Format HDD in NVR.
Sector Test.
Upgraded the firmware (This worked fine)
Set the password and ip configs through web interface (Lost on restart)
Set the password and ip configs through EZTools (Lost on restart)
Not sure whare it actually supposed to store the settings. Flash or HDD
I think it saves on flash as I was able to do the same changes without the HDD.
I would think that the flash is faulty but I only see a single 1G flash chip on the PCB and it updated the firmware so I would assume that the flash is ok.
Anybody out there that could shed some light?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
