Hello,

My home has 7 HD-TVI cameras with BNC connectors to a 12v power box and an NVR. I wanted to get opinions on the most cost-effective solution to upgrading my system. Ideally I want IP cameras, but I'm hoping to avoid having to rewire the whole house or attempt to fish the current cables. So I guess I have a few questions:

1) Is my current wiring good enough if I wanted high quality cameras with features such as AI/human detection? I know most of the topics in this forum are IP camera specific, so I wasn't sure on this.

2) I know there are Ethernet-over-Coax adapters (~$70 for a pair, for each camera or ~$500 for the whole home); Would this provide any added benefit versus the cameras currently available to me?

3) If I can still make use of my current wiring, are there any recommendations on systems to take advantage of it? I've seen recommendations for Dahua and EmpireAndy's shop, but from my understanding, he only sells IP cameras.

Thanks in advance!
