Put on leave hell, he should be fired.

Los Angeles-area city manager put on leave over social media post on two shot deputies

The city manager of a Los Angeles-area suburb was put on paid administrative leave Tuesday after his social media post on the ambush shooting of two sheriffs' deputies over the weekend was heavily criticized.
Jose Ometeotl was put on leave pending an internal investigation, Lynwood City Councilman Salvador Alatorre told Fox News following the council's closed session meeting Tuesday night. Alatorre put forth the motion to discipline or dismiss Ometeotl following his personal Instagram post that read "chickens come home to roost" after two deputies were shot multiple times while sitting in their patrol vehicle Saturday in the nearby city of Compton.
Michelle Ramirez, the city's director of community development, will step in as acting city manager.

This is why the Cubans and other Hispanics are dead set against Biden in Florida and elsewhere.

Refugees from socialist countries warn Americans: Don't let it happen here

One of the most memorable moments from the Republican National Convention came when Cuban-born Maximo Alvarez cautioned Americans against creeping socialism.
“I’ve seen movements like this before,” he warned last month.
The Florida businessman is hardly alone among those who fled socialist countries. On social media and in interviews with Fox News, other immigrants who settled in the U.S. say that recent political shifts here – including class warfare, riots and language policing, not to mention calls for expansive government programs – are starting to remind them of what they left behind.

I am surprised that Newsweek would run this article. Anyways good for them.

Dr. Fauci Backed Controversial Wuhan Lab with U.S. Dollars for Risky Coronavirus Research

Dr. Anthony Fauci is an adviser to President Donald Trump and something of an American folk hero for his steady, calm leadership during the pandemic crisis. At least one poll shows that Americans trust Fauci more than Trump on the coronavirus pandemic—and few scientists are portrayed on TV by Brad Pitt.
But just last year, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses.
In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.
Many scientists have criticized gain of function research, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans, because it creates a risk of starting a pandemic from accidental release.

Let's see,

On Tuesday Creepy Sleepy Joe didn't know where he was going on Wednesday, apparently neither did his wife, while the rest of the country, that pays any attention at all, knew he was scheduled to be in FL for an event with Latino leaders.

Creepy Sleepy Joe flew from his basement to FL, let's say a four hour round trip time, to give a whole 18 minute speech. He was late, apparently, for that originally being advertised for a 6:30PM time and not getting on stage until 8:00PM. When he finally did get on stage, the first thing he did was unashamedly pander to the Latino audience by playing a song in Spanish and sort of dancing, out of time, with the music. That little mis-step has cost him a lot of nasty Twitter comments, from Hispanics and his own supporters. That reminded me of our estimable Speaker of the House, et al, dressing in traditional African cloth in the rotunda of the Capitol.

In the mean time he also talked about a Harris/Biden Presidency.

His CCP Virus plan is exactly what President Trump has done and is doing.

He has a "scheduling problem" that prevents him from doing a Town Hall like President Trump did last night even with the completely unbiased "journalist" George Stephanopoulos. I know, it's hard to schedule time to be out of the basement let alone do an hour or two of unscripted questions without a teleprompter or an earpiece connected to a room full of advisors. Although it seems that Creepy Sleepy Joe already has the questions answered before they're asked at his "news conferences" and simply reads the answers his "team" has prepared for him.

How anyone, even a died in the wool, life long, blind, Liberal/Socialist/Marxist can even think that he has anything like what it takes to lead this country is beyond comprehension by anyone with even a modicum of intelligence.

Oh come on, he can have his meetings with other world leaders from his basement with the teleprompter. They just have to submit to his staff what they will say to him 24 hours prior so they can prepare the responses. Oh, and all meetings are limited to 18 minutes or less.

This is just hilarious if it was not so serious.

Minneapolis City Council Members Who Called For Dismantling Police Now Complain There's Not Enough Policing

Just months after the Minneapolis City Council called for “dismantling” the police department in the wake of George Floyd’s death, they are now panicking that there’s not enough policing to deal with the spike in violent crime.

During a recent meeting that was supposed to be a study session on police reform, Democratic council members instead relayed the frustrations they’re hearing from constituents.

"Residents are asking, ‘Where are the police’?” said council member Jamal Osman, reports MPR News. “That is the only public safety option they have at the moment. MPD. They rely on MPD. And they are saying they are nowhere to be seen.”

The jury is in on Hydroxychloroquine – ‘it saves lives’

Sky News host Rowan Dean says the jury is in and says categorically “Hydroxychloroquine saves lives” and Australians must be given access to the drug.

Mr Dean said Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly, along with his deputy Nick Coatsworth and Labor frontbencher Chris Bowen “stand condemned” for their continuous rejections of the drug.

Hydroxychloroquine has been touted by many as a potential treatment to COVID-19, however Dr Kelly declared to the Australian people it was not effective.

Mr Dean said “the jury says very clearly, if you look at all the studies … Hydroxychloroquine is consistently effective against COVID-19 when used early and in the right combination with other drugs”.

“Paul Kelly stand up tomorrow next to the prime minister and say you are sorry...

Not that it matters to me any more because I'll probably never watch a "Pro" game again, but...

I agree, I don't watch that crap and have not for many years. I am very glad they are playing again though, because every where I go for outside activities is too damn crowded. I relish the times when everyone was home laying on the couch watching sports.
