Hi folks

During day time the camera is setup to record only on VCA (line crossing)
During night it records continuous.
I have an event triggered snapshot (1 picture, 1920x1080, +++++) setup to FTP transfer 24h/7d.

Whenever someone crosses one of the 3 lines (day time), the snapshot will transfer fine, but the camera/NVR will not start recording. NVR will instead report a "Video Signal Lost" to me via email.

Events during night time (camera already recording) will not cause video loss.

Anyone out there with a suggestion/solution to this?

/Nik.

Additional info:

The "Video Signal Lost" message is received from the NVR, because the PTZ-camera reboots as soon as I have a line crossing event.
Has anyone seen a behavior like this before?

elprebse/Nik,

I am having all sorts of problems on 2xx2 HikVision grey market cameras running v5.4.1 build 160525. I would be interested to know if you are also running the same VCA events during the night time continuous recording sessions as search values. And if so, has there been any impact on recording reliability?

Some of the issues I have are listed at: Firmware 5.4.x working with HikVision on bugs
