Hi ,
So I have a setup that's less than ideal (for now), I have several out buildings that are wired for power but not data ( I cannot run data cables due to overhead constraints and no accessable in ground ducts) so I have a bunch of TP-Link Deco units in each building (these are working prettty well) I then have the camera's connected to the Deco's ethernet ports. Then on the master Deco that goes into switch where the Blueiris nvr is.
So straight away I have broken the golden rule of not having your cctv kit on the same network, but cannot avoid this so have a small firewall between router and outside world that blocks the ip camera's from going out to the internet. I dont access Blueiris via the web and it is only allowed out for updates. I do only permit Blueiris to talk to the camera's.

Is there a better way that is cost effective to do this ?
