One I hear a lot is that by using a motion enabled flood light, there will be a momentary blinding or bad reaction from your camera as it transitions from B&W to Color Mode making you possibly miss that important split second frame or two
Not so much with the right equipment and the right light positioning, and certainly not a problem if you have forced B&W
