viewing cams using macbook, using safari 10.1.2

wonder if anybody can point me in the right direction please, I would like to be able to log in and view my cameras using the macbook, but it just keeps telling me to install the plugin.

I found a video on youtube which looked promising, but after following that to the letter it still says the same thing?

I'm running the old safari 10.1.12

Try using Chrome with NACL plugin

well i've tried, but I'm not sure I understand the instructions.
downloaded chrome on my mac
then downloaded chrome dev?
then then trying to launch it from the command line, it just says error
