Hi
I tried to activate a new Hikvision DS-KV8X13-WME1(C) unit, but it is not visible on the network. Power supply connected, connected to a LAN router, but the laptop connected to the same router cannot find the IP address 192.0.0.65. What can I do?

Thanks

Does the laptop have an IP on the same subnet of 192.0.0.XXX ?
If not, it cannot "see" the door station.

On the laptop, press Windows key + R key at the same time
Type "cmd" and hit <Enter> to open a command window
In the command window type "ipconfig" and hit <Enter>
Up near the top, the laptop's NIC (network interface) will have an IP address indicated by "IPv4 address"....
What is that IP?

Is the doorbell cam connected by the lan port on it or you trying to connect this by wireless?

Thanks everyone for your help. So, I managed to connect and configure it, but in a completely different way than described. First, I downloaded the Batch Configuration program, managed to activate the device there, and went to the settings with the IP address shown there. That's how it worked.

Have a nice day

That's great!
As "a full beginner" (your words) during the process did you learn a bit about how to discover your laptop's IP, what a subnet is, etc. ?

Yes, although I copied the videos on the Internet quite mechanically. In any case, you will have to go through the procedure again in the new house after the installation, because I think the IP address will change there. I just put it together as a test on the table in the old apartment.

If you're like me you learn best by doing with hands-on with only a little assist from the written or video instructions. In time, the more you do and repeat again and again here and there on new and different cams, PC's, routers etc. it will fall into place and you'll be more adept, no longer "a beginner" and possibly able and willing to help others on this forum!
