Hi there,
I have several wired POE HD cameras connected trough a gigabit switch to a i7 4800MQ (quad core 2.7Ghz base 3.7 turbo) 16gb RAM. With 7 cameras attached the cpu load is around 60 percent.
When i connect via VLC (rtsp://192.xx.xx.xx) the playback is silky smooth and no complains, I can do this with several cameras opened at the same time.
In BLUE Iris the live view is visibly choppy.
Blue Iris settings:
same RTPS adress,
max frame rate 30 (camera is set to 25)
overlays off
tried: hardware Acceleration off, intel, intel +vpp all with the same results
direct to disc
motion detection off/on
Even with VLC and Blue IRIs running at the same time the VLC playback is perfectly fine and the BI one is stuttering. If i had to guess it around 5-10fps withs noticeable lags.
The Blue Iris Stats does show its receiving 25fps @ 1000kbs.
I have tinkered a lot and i am out of ideas. any help would be appreciated.
