Proverbial shot in the dark here...

I have a VTO3211D-P working for 1 year connected directly to my router
1) Connected directly with a UTP cable (Cat5 etc.) POE router or Connected directly with WiFi?
but now I want to connect it to a switch and bring internet to other areas of the house but I can not work...,
2) Can we assume the switch is connected to the router by a UTP (Cat5 etc.) cable? Or is this some WiFi router to WiFi switch connection?
try with poe and without poe and 12v and does not work
3) So this is a POE switch? Most switches will work by plugging a cable from the router (or other switch) into any port, but if this is an "edge" switch, there are
often one or two separate "UPLOAD" ports which must be connected to the router or other switches. I have an inexpensive dumb "edge" switch like this, for example.
It has 12 POE ports and 2 Upload ports.

And you are sure the POE function is enabled on the particular port in question. I have a Brocade POE switch, for example, that does not enable POE on
any port, AND when you do enable POE you have to ensure that the correct power "class" is selected:

4) All my Dahua cameras, include the VTO's (doorbells) require the Class 2 Power setting.
Please see this site for an explanation of POE Types and Classes

only get it to work if I put next to a wifi repeater xiaomi x3000.
5) So it works with 12v (non-POE) power connection and a WiFi connection, correct? That situation leads me to believe there is something wrong with the UTP cable, or the POE
switch configuration.
I have in the same range of ip everything but is to connect it to any switch and does not work.

Can you help me please
Thanks
6) Yeah, that must be frustrating. You are on the right track I think - the connections are straightforward.

6) Sí, eso debe ser frustrante. Creo que estás en el camino correcto: las conexiones son sencillas.Él
Hello Thank you for answering

1- The doorbell was connected to the main router of my company Vodafone by utp cable (without poe).

2. The switch uses the old utp cable that the doorbell had that goes to my main router.

3- I tried with a normal switch, with another mercusys switch with poe and another with poe dahua and in the upload port the utp cable that goes to the main router. But none of these switch are managed, they don't have their own ip and you can't configure the option of your image.

4- I can't tell you the type of poe, but the dahua switch is recommended by the brand and it doesn't work either.

5- It works with 12v and xiaomi repeater with utp cable, but without cable and mesh also works the doorbell but slower.

I am going to leave a manageable neutral router to see if it works this way I will continue to report ....

Thanks for your help
