I am trying to cover all of my bases before purchasing a NAS. This is the first time I have tried to set up any brand of IP camera and so far it is going ok. The camera is a Hikvision 2-CD2032I V5.2.0 build 140721, it is a chines region cam. Currently the camera is connected to the net and I can view it in the iVMS-4500 app. I am ready to purchase some type of storage device, I read that a NAS would need to be NFS compatible (like I said this is my first go with this so compatible may not be the correct word).
Would anyone on here have this camera recording to a NAS? If so what brand NAS did you go with? What kind of problems did you have if any?
