Waterproof 12V DC connector in my camera

ok, sorry if this has been asked before but I looked everywhere here and youtube and I could only find how to waterproof the Rj45 connector, which protectors are included, but I couldn't find anything about the 12V DC connector. Right now I want to use this kind of connector for my camera but it will be exposed to rain. I couldn't find any kind of protection for this connector in my camera package, I did find the rj45 protector, so am I missing something or why a protector is not included for this power option?

I can only speak for Dahua cameras. You are not missing anything and need to waterproof the connector on your own. Two solutions are to use coax seal, or some gutter sealing putty that costs a lot less.

I'd wrap with "coax seal" / self-vulcanizing rubber tape as @tigerwillow1 suggested from end-to-end, overlapping each junction of the male & female 12VDC connectors where they meet the cable by a good 1", then run a TIGHT layer of 3M 33+ or 88 electrical tape over that to accelerate the curing process; leave the electrical tape on.
