Hi there,
Perhaps it is already asked a 1000 million times, but searching the forum did not helped me.
I have a cheap ip cam and i want to play around with it for the webview part as i cannot get the stream anymore via the browser bc of FLASH player requirement.

Via VLC it is posseble using: rtsp:/192.168.2.X:554/ch0_1.h264 to retrieve a stream

I have some webbased coding skills but i can not find any 'camera firmware update'
Perhaps with the given screenshots someone instantly knows with what kind of cam i working with and what options i have.
The idea is just out of hobby and fun. I have an old Apple Ipad and there are no apps available anymore for it, but i want to use it as security-system.
The cam came with the ANDROID/APPLE APP requirement SAP HD, but my IPAD Os is not compatible.
This is what the webview looks like:

Does the camera have an embedded webGUI at it's IP address? if so have you tried hitting it with Internet Explorer on a PC? I would think that the flash plug-in is made for Internet Explorer which is hiding in Windows 10 and 11. Let us know if you want to know how to reveal and use IE in Windows 10/11.

Possibly Edge browser with IE Tab would also allow use of the plug-in.

If the workable plug-in is not supplied by the camera to be downloaded and utilized in IE I personally would not spend much more time trying to find a firmware update but instead would just stream RTSP to VLC.

EDIT 12/19 @ 0654 CDT: FWIW, VLC is available for Windows and iOS/iPad/iPhone.

The goal is to use my IPad with IOS 10.3.4.
It has the VLC app, but that is only for the stream options.

I also was able to visit on the cam via webbrowser:

What gives me a peak into the webview html pages and .js /.css sources.:

Just found out:
Manufacturer: ZSKJ
firmware : 16.07.00.51
ONVIF version: 2.20
But there is nothing to find (substantional), also tried Github.
Interesting is that the Dutch gov. site say it is a un-secure camera ( by manufacturer)

Flash was discontinued by Adobe several years ago. It still seems to work on some websites, but there's no support and no updates. If it's trying to update from direct Adobe's flash updater, that's why it can't find any compatible updates - non exist.
