Unless you have devices that supports the AX format, the router won't speed up your network.

I needed it for extending my wifi range.
WiFi was hit or miss on the back of my property. The new ax73 works with an extended range as needed.
Note: wifi 6 is just a beefed up 5g signal.
WiFi 6a is the newer ax you are thinking about. The ax73 is not wifi 6a. If it was WiFi 6a, it would cost around $500,not $150.

My mistake, it is wifi 6e, not 6a.lol..
But you get the picture of things..
