internal IR.

I have a CM vison IR flood light on my front gate that gives and outstanding picture but the [h=1]CMVision Wide Angle IRD50 - 84 LED 120 Degree IR Dome Illuminator with Free 12V 500mA Power[/h]that I ordered from amazon has poor throw, I need something that can illuminate to 125 feet and bright enough that I can turn off the internal ir lights. I was thinking of this one

What field of view do you expect to illuminate at 125'?

I guess the delay and lack of answers after posting your scenes tells you it'll be tricky if you want ALL of them well and evenly lit. You're going to have to experiment a bit. If it were me, I'd start with leaving my external house lights on dusk to dawn timers. That'll give you closeup lighting for the cameras and some deterrent for folks walking by that'd rather pick a dark driveway. I've got LED bulbs in my entryway lights and LED floods in my motion lights. Decent light with a low electrical bill. Then, pick an infrared floodlight and mount it up high so it won't white out the faces of folks coming close where you really have a good chance for a great shot. Use it to light up the background, middle to the end of your driveway, and trees. 850nm lights are cheaper and throw more light than the invisible (no red glow) 940nm lights. Then, if your house lights don't quite give you the light you want for close-up shots, supplement them with a smaller wide angle illuminator that preferably at least matches the field of view of the camera you're using it with.

Check out Amazon and look at their reviews. Many of the more popular illuminators have reviews with pictures attached so that you can see the results. I've got a couple of cheap CMVision illuminators linked below that I got from Amazon that work fine for what they are. Beware of ones with a narrow spotlight for use with wide angle cameras. With your scenes if it were me I'd get 90 degrees if you're trying to light up close with the IR and probably 60 for distance light mounted and aimed a bit higher than the camera.

I think I might going to go with some of these the next time I need some and if you're interested then you can specify beam angle- http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/b1C3CmgY
