Hello everyone
I am trying to upgrade my Amcrest 5mp IP5M-T1179EW-36MM to the dahua firmware IPC-HDW2531TP-AS, unfortunately I have not found any links to download. Can anyone point me to the right direction? Thank you so much!

Thank you! I got to that page before but got confused since I was expecting the same exact model/number

you can always double-check the HWID's listed in the 'check' file included in the fw zip, to see the list of supported models...

Pozzello, thank you so much I was able to flash the Amcrest . Are you able to confirm that there is no person/face detection on the smart tab ? I only see the lightbulb icon available 125548E0-68C1-4B65-AFD0-23298A3F5C8C.png

Please share your original amcrest firmware.

Thanks!

Sorry to bother, but i tried both this one above and the one @pozzello linked and they both said they failed. Im running the latest amcrest firmware (Amcrest_IPC-HX25(8)XX-Molec_Eng_N_AMCREST_V2.800.00AC001.0.R.201230) so im not 100% sure what happened (did dahua do something to prevent this?) or if there are other workarounds that were successful for people?

I tried the firmware's listed is this thread for the Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-28MM and nothing is working. I think Amcrest may have patched their cameras to not allow cross flashing.

Flash to dahua posible only using ttl2usb adapter connected to opened ipc via tftp with dahua image file update.img or separated images.
Not via web!
