Where to buy Dahua with 5 year warranty

@nayr - maybe you can answer this and I'm sorry of this has been discussed before but..

After reading that Hikvision and Dahua are extending their warranty to 5 years to "purchases by any authorized dealer" I had a few questions but have come up empty on their answers...

Does this warranty extend to their end user?
If not- what's their purpose of only warranty a "supplier" for 5 years and not then end user
If yes- where they heck do we buy them cameras from the 'authorized dealer'

Also then, what is Dahua's warranty for someone buying their camera from a company such as Amazon ...

the warranty you get from an authorized dealer is not going to be worth the extra $100 or whatever you pay per camera imho.

also if you use a reputable vendor like Andy or someone else with a good rep you get the best of both worlds, the cheaper direct from china price, and someone who still warranties their crap, I'm proof of that, I've got an ultra bullet on my desk right now that was warrantied.

I've tried to search for this "Andy" ... how do i find this legendary vendor of IP camera Realm

5 years warranty, normally we can do but exceed the 2 years warranty we only can help you fix up the defective ones. I think even local distributor also like this. USA market only offer 1 year warranty. If for 5, I think they will not care it when the warranty expired. Another issue is dahua updates too fast , I think the spare parts can't find it after 5 years. Normally we do the best for all our clients
