Which Gaming Desktop?

What's a good middle of the road (sub $1k) gaming desktop pc now days? Looking at getting a package deal for my nephew but have no idea about gaming PC's. Thx

As far as I know make sure it contains an AMD cpu with latest AM5 socket; can't go wrong with an RTX 4070

I went with a prebuilt HP since I didn’t feel like dealing with parts, and it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far. Just make sure to check airflow and cooling, especially if you’re running heavier stuff. If you’re worried about online games being fair, I’ve seen people complain about eft cheats messing with matches, so solid performance and low ping matter more than ever.
