Why doesn't Blue Iris sell hourly consulting services?

This software is so complicated and hard to set up properly (as in not getting false AI detection constantly) that they can probably give away this software for FREE and then charge $100 an hour to set it up! They would probably be making a killing off of that. I mistakenly bought the "priority support" package only to find out that they won't even set up the software.

I've been at it since...like April 2019...and still don't use 1/2 the features.
I was dismayed at the Clunky software in my learning curve of Dvr's and NVR's, and some proprietary " eye Max" PC software, thrown at me on my new Job in 2017.
I'm not always an early Adopter. But being fed up, I got Blue Iris 5.0 on DVD. branded as Amcrest/Blue Iris 5.0.
@wittaj was a big help.
I'm finally using Code Project AI to reduce false motion, snow flakes/ trees/ Bunnies/ and just trigger for people and vehicles.
Before i just lived with 500 motion events a day. and I would just browse thru the previous day to see if there was anythingof interest.
I live on a corner just off a busier Thru-street, so we don't see much traffic. It's been nice to finally setup " pushover" 2 years after it was a " big deal" lol..
Now I wonder why I waited.

I'm using code project but I can't figure out how to ignore static objects on my ptz cameras that use patrol zones. That's my current dilemma. Their support is also crickets right now which means I probably asked them (I mean "Ken", the only guy there apparently) too many questions. This is why they need to charge for help. I just want this damn thing set up properly and don't care if I have to spend an extra fee hundred or not. Apparently that's not even a thing. Oh well Indians from Fiver are gonna be getting my money in that case.

@wittaj
I would thoeretically think that asking a moving camera to not detect motion, would be a difficult thing to set up. I'm sure somebody has done it, But after fooling around with PTZ's on a Condo security system, I went with static cams to enhance my PTZ, and the PTZ eventually was left static as an over view of the Back parking lot.
Not what you want to hear.
But I am lower end user.
The 1st, job was maintenance, so the security cams were a distant 3rd, so no time to play...
