Does anyone know how to prevent this red column appearing every time I log in?

Thank you!

Some more info just might help, ya never know, such as:
  • Browser?
  • UI3 version?
  • BI version?
  • Did you recently update anything, such as BI, etc. ?
  • Have you tried a different Chromium-based browser (Google Chrome, Edge, Brave) ?
BTW, what is that toolbar at the top, is it an extension?

Sorry -- I should have known to provide this info.

MS Edge Version 114.0.1823.43 (Official build) (64-bit)

UI3 version 240

Blue Iris version: 5.7.6.7

Constantly making changes (it's a problem, I know)

Ding ding ding: Firefox and Chrome work fine. (I should have been able to do this basic troubleshooting.)

By "toolbar" to you mean:

If so, then that's just my bare minimum tabs open in Edge. I've tried various tab managers, but they slow me down too much (which is probably a good thing, but doing good things is yet another issue).

Then try Edge without the toolbar and any extensions; if no joy, either see if there's an Edge update or try to remove last Edge update via Windows Update history.

If you open Edge's developer tools with ctrl+ shift + i and look at the console tab, it should give you the entire error message with the ability to select and copy the text so we can see what is going wrong.

I'm not familiar with it. I see the hovering over DEV TOAST WRAPPER highlights the area of interest on the html page, but that's as far as I get. The red text with MP3 files named disaappears after about 10-15 seconds.

Perhaps this makes sense to you:

I think I discovered the culprit:

I disabled all the Edge plug-ins (a bunch of Bitdefender plugins and 2 from MS -- IE to Edge conversion) and the problem is no longer there.

Thank you guys!

Good to hear!
IIRC, those are known as "extensions'; similar but slightly different in function from a "plug-in".

Thank you for the clarification.

I used CCleaner and CCleaner calls them plug-ins. But, within Edge, I see now that they are called extensions.
