Not from my cameras, just a cool picture. A wildfire broke out yesterday at the edge of Bend, OR and they threw the big stuff at it immediately. The airport firefighting base is only a few miles away. The fire grew to 20 acres 3 hours after first report, and to 78 acres until fully contained.
Back in the day in Commiefornia (Santa Barbara) as a teenager I remember watching these guy doing their runs in the mountain areas. It was a bit further away though but you could definitely see how low they got to the fire.
