Do most people have cameras covering accessible first floor widows, especially on the back of a home? Or just stick to doors?

Most people have cameras mounted on the house facing out. Some will also have a camera facing towards their door in case they hear someone at the door or if a package was delivered. That camera is for my front door/packages.

I can't speak for most people. I have cameras looking at the house, covering the whole thing.

I think it really depends on the threat assessment. If you live in an area with low crime, then it probably isn't needed. However I would absolutely try to have this coverage in a high crime area, especially if my house appeared to be nicer than others around it.

I run with cameras watching each other as well as the house and the front/back areas.
So 4 cameras for the front and 3 in the back.

I have zero windows on the side of my house, so no cameras there.
