Hi!

I will be moving to a house that is shared with complete strangers soon.
I am thinking of purchasing an IP camera to give me peace of mind while I am at work or on a vacation.

The video should be recorded on a remote server since local storage (SD Cards or NVR with harddrives) can be easily accessed by other roommates.

The biggest problem is that the internet has a dynamic IP and I can't even setup dynamic DNS and IP forwarding since the internet service and router is provided by the landlord, thus I have no access to the admin panel.

While I understand wireless solutions will always be less reliable than wired solutions, running a ethernet cable is simply not an option in this situation as it's too obvious to my roommates.

Judging from my needs, it seems that those consumer-facing Wifi Security Cameras with subscriptions might suit my needs better. However, I really despise such products.

I am willing to invest on VPS such as Linode, DigitalOcean, etc.
Is there a WiFi IPCam that supports recording directly to a remote server without a computer or NVR?
ONVIF compatible IPCams will be preferred.

What are my options? Is there any suggestions?

Thanks!
