Hi all. I looked, but I did not see anything relevent. Does anyone know if there are any wireless nanny cams that I can tie to and record to my Dahua NVR? Would I need to hook it to a wireless bridge or wireless access point? Also, any that I can assign a static IP to?

TIA,

Mike

No need for bridge unless your WAP is very far away or weak.

Yes. The IP2M-841 @looney2ns suggested will likely meet your needs, I have 2 in service for non-critical pet cams. It's OEM'd by Dahua and is ONVIF compliant.

EDIT 8/27 @ 1630 CDT: FWIW, the 841 can operate wired or wireless, each will have it's own IP, you can assign a unique static IP to the wired NIC and to the wireless NIC, use IP's that are outside of your router's DHCP pool; you can make the wireless default so that as soon as you unplug the Ethernet cable used when configuring it, it will begin to use the wireless NIC and its associated IP.

Oh cool... And could I just use a WAP placed near the NVR, or even the powerline ethernet adapters?
