With IVMS-4200, I Am Getting Live Audio, But Not On Playback

I have a hikvision oem NVR with some hikvision cameras. I enabled audio in the image settings, and if I toggle the audio on in IVMS-4200 while watching the live video I hear the sound. But by playback, there is no audio. Am I missing something else I need to toggle?

My google skills are not helping that much.

Look either in the web GUI or iVMS that this tab is set to video and audio if it's video only you will in live view be able to hear what's happening but it won't record audio do both on main stream and sub stream and save

Do you also record with iVMS Software or on dvr or on SD card?

Sorry i didnt read that you record with an NVR. Just check settings the marku2 provides. Maybe you have to click somewhere on the playback site to hear the recorded audio

Nvr if the camera has a sd card you can acces the records via the web GUI if your recording the camera to the nvr the the play back is there make sure if it's hikvision right click the mouse when playing back to enable Audio

Hi there,

At NVR's menu go:

Settings=> Record=> Parameters=> More Settings=> Record Audio tick it to enable. Find pic attached.
