Hello, I have an xvr5104 device that has four cvi cameras and two ip cameras connected to it
My problem is that two IP cameras do not record in motion detection mode and the motion sign is not shown at the bottom of the channel
 
That XVR supports 4 CVI channels using SMD. Are you using SMD?

The IP cameras SMD would need to be configured on the camera themselves
 
I did not use smd but in alarm menu i set motion detection for channels and set region and ip camera's motion detection is enable on camera
