lol I did the same thing, it's pretty good. Lots of stuff still gets by it but it's worth it.After seeing all of the Pi-hole mentions, I installed it tonight (on DietPi). It's awesome!

^^^ This!!!I think the nearly universal reaction to installing a pi-hole is "Why did it take me so long to do this?"

Depends on what you are looking to do. I know there are several threads of people using a Pi as a remote viewer/display for their cameras. I believe that BI supports MQTT protocol so you may be able to do some automations that way if you install MQTT on the Pi - I’m not versed in the capabilities of BI in that regard yet.Is there any easy way for a Raspberry Pi to communicate with Blue Iris?
I'm very interested in this, what are you using? Can you give me a few details, please?I have one setup as a remote file storage, runs backup every night pictures and docs. It is connected to a USB HHD in my gun safe. I have 2 others setup to run OSMC (KODI). Stream media from my Synology DS918+.
File backup or OSMC?I'm very interested in this, what are you using? Can you give me a few details, please?
Woops, file backup.File backup or OSMC?
I used a tutorial like this,Woops, file backup.
Agreed. I was shocked how poor the pi camera module performs especially outdoors.I used to play with the raspberry pi camera modules, but they really aren't very good compared to a proper IP camera.
What software? One Pi 3B+ running as a digital picture frame.
A project another user @Dasstrum posted here. I'm attaching my scripts, somewhat slimmed/trimmed down from his originals. You'll need a Raspberry Pi, Debian Linux, an SD Card, an LCD screen and controller card, and a little bit of wiring and Linux scripting and Python experience. What software?
