SmartPSS Issues - Reliable link to old version?

I recently updated the FW on my Dahua NVR as well as reinstalling SmartPSS using the latest version on the Dahua website (V2.003.0000001.0.R.200413). Everything is working fine, except that SmartPSS can't load any video streams. It's all configured correctly, but just sits on "Searching video" with no error messages. When I check the log I see 2 entries each time I try, with the same timestamp, one for start and one for end (something like "stream start", "stream end").

I can connect with an older version on my laptop just fine, and gDMSS/iDMSS work fine as well.

I'm chalking this one up to a bad version (although I would have expected some reports of this behaviour), and was looking to install an older version. However I'm having a hard time tracking down one that doesn't set off ransomware alerts in my antivirus (bitdefender). Dahua don't list old version download links so I'm trying links I find on e.g. mega or dropbox. Is there a way to find official download links from Dahua's website?

That said - I get the same AV alert from the version I downloaded from Dahua's wiki, so maybe a false positive...any thoughts?

@looney2ns Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately the link that ends up point to (along with any other older version link for dahua's wiki site) is a 404 now.

I have the install file for old version but it doesnt allow me to upload the file here, I tried to zip it as well.

No direct help, but as FYI I'm running V2.003.0000001.0.R.200413 connected to a 5216-4kS2 V1 with firmware V4.001.0000000.3, Build Date: 2020-05-19, and not having the problem you are asking about. (I have other problems, a different subject).

Makes me wonder if it's just a configuration problem? On the Devices page, does smartPss say that the NVR is online? I have some older versions but can't email them at over 100 MB each. The AV alert does kind of sound like a false positive.

The NVR is online on the devices page. My NVR is a 4216-4KS2 running V4.001.0000000.1, Build Date: 2020-03-19, maybe some strange issue between the 2 versions - who knows!

I tried V2.003.0000000.0.R.190802 and it worked almost perfectly, except only the first IVS rule on each camera was displayed on the live view. I tried the same version as my laptop (V2.002.0000007.0.R.181023) and all is well!
