Really hating this surveillance world we now live in...
I call it abused unchecked Capitalism...Flock does this too, credit card companies do this too, advertising data, data brokers are all lined up to send a tsunami of product suggestions for garbage nobody needs
What planet are we protecting? This is capitalism at its peak.
Loosely related, after accessing my Charles Schwab account yesterday a survey request popped up. It looked innocent, asking if I accomplished what I logged in to do, followed by a "why or what could we do better" type of text box. I typed in what I thought was a helpful comment, then noticed that by pressing "submit" I agreed to their terms and conditions, which required clicking a link to get to. I didn't get a screen shot, but the gist of it is you perpetually assign all rights to them for anything you say and they can use it in any way they want to.Really hating this surveillance world we now live in...
I am still trying to figure out what the Happy Ending entailsI should know better when it says watch on YouTube
I know nothing about Auto driving but at that rate of speed and the fact it is not like cruise control, does not make sense why the car did not slowdown/stop knowing it was driving into a cul de sacI would hazard a guess that they'll charge the driver with something. Auto driving feature does not engage by itself - the driver has to activate it. The driver is responsible for control of the vehicle, period.
Edit: seems he told the responding police that he did in fact have the auto driving feature enabled at the time of the crash.
