Its a combination of Arrogant and Ignorant peopleI like reddit, it is full of assholes

don't forget those that are suffering greatly from TDSIts a combination of Arrogant and Ignorant people
Its not a replacement for real forums like ipcamtalk where REAL people talk
Let's face it, the forum is toast, thanks to AI, its only going to get worse
AI is micromanaging Cloudflare and other cloud-based web host serversHow does AI nonsense have any link to forum technical problems or whether the forum is toast or not?
In addition to that, DNS lookup is incredibly slow. I thought it was my Ubiquiti crap at first, but turns out it takes forever to resolve the DNS when attempting to logon to ipcamtalk - happening on LAN, WiFi, and 5GSince yesterday 7/22/26 getting "database error", the old familiar "oops" message and just spinning 50% of the time. Something needs attention, IMO.
Is it just me?
Hey @Mike ....SOS!
An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.

The database error message has the real cause in a hidden HTML comment.

This tells me there's a probably-unintentional connection limit somewhere. Likely in the database server which the forum is using.
I sent this to @Mike in a private message on Saturday morning but didn't hear back.

Probably caused by AI bots aggressively scraping the website in large numbers.
