Hmm it does, but it doesn't have the specs I'm looking for.
What specs are you looking for? The specs in Post 1? It has those specs. The IPC-HFW8281E-Z is old (just look at the current catalog, you won't find it). I would go with the newer IPC-HFW8232E-Z or the UltraWDR IPC-HFW8231E-Z.

of course

it's a LBH48s with IMX290 and 2.8-8mm 3x AF
I've just cancelled my order because of this message from the seller:

About the camera, I have to let you know the news. We may still unable to ship the goods on time, because the camera you ordered is a new solution, so we need a trial production before send it to our customer, product testing takes about 1 month. If you don't mind, you can cancel this order, I will inform you once the trial production end, if you still need this camera at that time, you can buy it again. Or you can extend the harvest period by two weeks.

So they've written all the marketing materials, spec sheets and put them on sale. They just forgot to build some to validate their performance and reliability. What could possibly go wrong?

Do you think 1/1,9" is better than 1/2,8"? That's only true if it's the same sensor technology.

You sould not compare apples to oranges.
True, but the other one could also do 60FPS. There were a couple of other cameras on the catalog that interested me. Just gotta look them up and see what the prices are.

I can't really find any info about the other Cams so I'll settle for the IPC-HFW8231E-Z
Which cams do you mean?
I'm interested in the new eco-savvy.3 series. But all of them are currently not available. According a seller on aliexpress, they need some time.

Do you have any experience with this camera? Also, can you recommend a website to purchase it from (Shipping to USA)?
No, my starlight-cam has the older exmor-sensor not the new backilluminated (bsi) exmor-r.

I've ordered my cams on aliexpress.

Does the Hikvison DS-2CD4626FWD-IZ camera have any significant advantages over the DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZ that worth the price difference between these two 2 MP darkfighter models (1350 USD vs. 800 USD)?
As far as I can see both of the cameras uses the same 1/1.8” sensor and varifocal lenses. Does the DS-2CD4626FWD-IZ model have significant better IR performance?

You can always increase IR coverage with external IR lights, but quite frankly these are astronomical prices on these cams considering being only 2MP and limited range. No matter how good and reliable they are, I don't see many home owners splurging on these when you can spend as much and get ten Mini Ptzs instead of one of these. Even buying two cams one mini PTZ and one cheap Hikvision/Dahua turret as a backup for outdoors to cover the same spot would be much more economically sound.
