IP camera for live streaming

Hello

We need to live stream religious events from a temple '

Content includes both video and audio.

The stream needs to be embedded into our website and if possible to be pushed to our YouTube channel.

There are three locations within the same premises from where the streaming needs to be done, but any one location at a time.

Wifi connectivity is available

We are looking out for something in budget range of 1500 USD max.

Please suggest.

Not really sure how complex you're looking to get with this, but seems like all you would really need is one of the cheap Hikvision models that support audio (like the DS-2CD2132-I dome)...That would give you a high def. video stream with ability to wire audio to it. The Huisun mini-ptz would do the same thing, while also allowing you to pan, tilt and zoom. If you record the video to a hard drive, you could easily upload to Youtube later. If you need to stream live to Youtube, then the IP camera's don't natively support this as the formats are not compatible. In that case, you would need a computer to re-encode the live stream and push a copy to youtube in a compatible format...This can be as simple as having the live stream playing on the computer and using a screen capture program to push the contents of the screen to Youtube, or using a software that can grab the raw streaming feed from the IP camera and re-encode to a Youtube-compatible format. Instead of doing all of that, you may be better off just getting a USB webcam rather than an IP cam.

Upload bandwidth is a very important consideration here, as well. Video uses a lot of bandwidth. If you're using Youtube live (or similar service), then you're only streaming one copy using your in-house bandwidth. If viewers are watching the stream directly from your IP Cam, then you're technically streaming a new copy for each viewer, which adds up fast (even on high speed commercial internet services).

It all really depends on just how high-tech you want to get. $100 camera and an old computer can get the job done if you're simply wanting members to be able to watch and hear what's going on from home. Of course, if you're trying to make a network TV quality program, it's going to cost more.

We have actually tried with a computer using xsplit encoder and webcam. It works but someone needs to monitor it all the time like start up etc.

We are looking for something where human involvement will be minimal.

A tablet or a cell phone. Facebook Live. Boom.

Computer or laptop, webcam(s), good mic (like Zoom h4n), OBS software, YouTube live stream. Boom again.

How much upload bandwidth speed do you have? You can embed the output directly on your website, but each person watching will use more bandwidth. Even most high speed connections can't handle more than a couple viewers, at most...If you're looking for a big audience, your best bet it to use a computer to send to Youtube...Unfortunately, there's no way to do this without at least a little human involvement.

You can get Huisun cams that support audio, but you have to wire in a mic yourself; they don't come with a built-in mic. Of note, the built-in audio encoder is not high quality (about telephone quality) so while it may be fine for voice, it's not going to sound very good with music.

Still seems like your best option is a USB webcam that you could stream directly to youtube on a computer and wire in a decent quality microphone (or to your current audio system) for the audio feed.

what solution did yall come up with? I am also looking to convert our facebook live service from an ipad to something better like IP camera.
