New to this. Just purchased a lts ltn7604-p4 nvr. Don't know what all types cameras I can use with this nvr. Is there any specific things I need to know before purchasing any cameras. Thanks:sad2:

Well I haven't received it yet. Is LTS the only camera that will work?

Q2U Did I make a mistake in buying this? If so I might be able to cancel if I do it now.

Hardware NVR's are not for mix and match deployments, if you want to get the most out of that NVR you will plug LTS cameras into it and forget about everyone else.

If you want to mix and match whatever cameras you impulse buy, then you need to use a software NVR like BluIris.

Would mixing cameras mess up quality of monitor, or just over the network?

what?

mixing brands at least results in non-functioning features, at worst it just wont work.. getting it to work at all depends on how standards compliant (Onvif) the camera and NVR are.
