Here is some footage from my mobile PTZ. It has a Dahua 6MP lens installed.
It is not been released by Dahua so I can't call it a Dahua PTZ.

I ordered it direct from the manufacture.
They normally sell 2mp non Dahua lenses with their cameras.
After working with them, I had a 8mp, 4k Univision and this 6mp Dahua made.

It took a while to get Dahua to sell them a English lens.

After using it for about a month I have listed some likes and dislikes below.
The video image has not been manipulated, it was pulled off the NVR with Smart PSS.
What you see is what it recorded.

Pros

Quality of image
Able to use web service
No obstructed view with wall mount
60 fps @1080
No 90° horizon limit
Shutter speed up to 30k
H.264/H.265
works well with i/g DMSS
Delivery time - 3 days

Cons

Aspect ratio and resolution - 6mp = 2592 x 2592 , 5Mp= 2560 x 1920
3D Positioning is upside down.
H.265- I am unable to convert the 265 format to mp4 or avi and make it playable by exporting with PSS. ( same trouble with my 4mp PTZ from Dahua)
The cable connection is about 15'.

Thanks for sharing ! What was the cost or what will be the cost? and do you have a photo of how you mounted it on the car?

The cost is ~1300 and custom fees I think were $15. It was $107 for Fed Ex 2 day shipping, they pay customs and then you have to pay them.

As far as mounting I have mine on a mast. It is held on by 4 bolts to a base plate. It could be mounted to a luggage rack crossbar if you add a base plate.

Outstanding. Ingenious.

This is insane. Very smart concept. Are you a camera man by day?
