So since my last post the camera hasn't had any glitching despite the fact it has been in an area with sudden changes from dark to light and sudden movement from time to time. The only time it glitched was 1) when I first plugged it in and 2) when I turned off the light and it switched to night mode (I have tried to repeat the scenario but can't get it to falter).

Just a quick FYI, I have been fighting the "GLITCH" for several weeks. I found out that the ASRock X99X Killer motherboard I have comes with a program "XFast LAN" going through it I found that I can change the priory for RTSP. Changing to the highest setting, not only did the glitch stop but the lag I had in real time viewing stopped.

The new update to BlueIris (1/9/2017) seems to have fixed the problems with the IP3M952E QCam cameras. I no longer get glitches or slo-mo recording and time skipping. I think the update included some refinements in the H294 compression re CPU load which affected certain cameras.

I still have the problem with both time skipping and artifacts. I can get rid of the video glitches by setting the camer to 1080p but that is clearly not the best solution.

Mine is doing a lot better, rarely see glithces now. I have it set on the 2nd highest res with 3mb bit rate.

FYI, I just saw the firmware for qcam pop up on amcrest page. I was unable to upgrade the qcam though. Error fail when trying to update. There is no change log.
Maybe someone else can test it.

I tried the firmware update without success as well.

ill try agian when i get home.
Funny thing is that it always give me "failed " error at 20% however i tried a few more times and it went 100% but failed lOL.

Dont want to get rid of this cam. seems to work decently. I purchased it on accident thinking it was a amcrest pro cam.

Now that it's working OK with blueiris I'm afraid to try the firmware again.
