Looking for the correct junction box for this Dahua camera:
IPC-HDW4431C-A

The dahua accessory guide is here. Except the cameras that I have look nothing like the photos in their diagram:
http://www1.dahuasecurity.com/download/Accessory_Selection201703233.pdf

What I am seeing is PFA122. Is that correct? or is there is a simpler or smaller junction box that will fit? My cameras looks more like the HDW7 photos.

Thank you

Looks to my old eyes like PFA139. HDW6 under Network lists 4431.

Don't just look at the pictures, find the actual diagrams that give the dimensions of the box and camera in mm.
Edit: seems like you take the first 4 letters of the model eg. HDW4, but apparently something was lost in translation

I think you'd be better off with one of these:
Dahua Starlight Fixed Lens Turret (IPC-HDW4231EM-AS)

This is actually the best page for research because they give all the camera styles & numbers per mount and it's way more easy to figure out than that pdf, imo . Click on the cameras per mount too, to see more detailed body styles. I couldn't have tracked down exactly which junction box I'll need without this page.

You're right on many models that doesn't work
Yeah, I wonder about Dahua sometimes. How hard would it be to make a pdf with the camera models in one column and the associated accessories in the adjacent column.

Btw- this camera looks to like yours and those mounts are likely what you'll want for that camera

USA/IPCamera/Pro/DH IPC HDW44A1EN I - Dahua Wiki

I think @Shockwave199 is correct with PFA136. It has the same 110mm outer diameter as the IPC-HDW4431C-A and it has a triangular screw mounting pattern with an 84mm diameter. Based on the screw diameter and assuming you want a larger box mount or wall mount unit, these should also work: PFA122, PFA123, and PFB203W.

Wow... Dahua really made it impossible to interpret that accessory guide? Five different "4431" options with no exact matches??

HDB1 - HDB4431C-AS
HDW2 - HDW4431M
HDW6 - HDW4431
HDBW4 - HDBW4431
HDBW7 - HDBW4431F-AS

I was leaning towards the HDW6 (PFA139) until I noticed it had a square bolt pattern versus triangular.

Here are pics of the mounting template and base for my HDW4431C-A:

That camera looks like a IPC-HFW4431.

Thought you needed a box for a HDW-4431?

Well, if all is ok then it should be good. :)

Where did you get the black one? Or did you paint it?

Sorry, that a was a confusing post on my part. Still waiting on the boxes for the HDW-4431....

This was just a photo mean time of the other box I received this week for the IPC-HFW4431

I painted them black, white sticks out too much here.

Well after waiting 21 days I was just informed that the junction boxes I ordered for my install next week were never in fact shipped. The seller on AlieExpress was: Store DragonEye Security Camera Ltd's store He left me hanging and didn't respond to emails well. Opened a dispute.

Does anyone have an idea on a simple junction box from home depot or Amazon that will work for now that will accept a 1/2" conduit and allow me to mount the triangle pattern HDW4431C-A camera mounting plate to it? I don't have access to a camera with me.

I made a piece of wood for the two cameras for the tree. And the Dahua camera cat 5 cable will feed over to the 4431 camera junction box and they will both feed down one conduit cable to the ground. The white junction box in the photo is the wrong size for the 4431 camera.

Thanks @Shockwave199 but these are marked up 250%. The same boxes cost $9.50 on alie express which is already marked up from Dahua but are selling for $25 here??? I am not one to pinch pennies constantly but this is price gouging.

Son of a.... I ordered from DragonEye as well. It was supposedly shipped on April 21st, but every time I click on the tracking button it says "temporarily unavailable". I assumed it was a glitch until I saw your post. Sounds like they registered the shipping label but never actually mailed it.

This is on top of 3 other orders that never shipped with a different vendor in March. Really disappointed with Aliexpress lately. I have used them for years and never had a problem, until recently.
