I am eventually going to do POE... but just can't yet - logistically. In the meantime - can I use the power block I listed from Amazon for this??

Personally, I'd go with the POE injector that @bp2008 suggested; it's only $5 more than the wall wart and unlike the wall wart it can be located up to 100 meters / 328 ft. away from the cam (closer to AC power).
