I have my first two cams setup and running right now. I am looking for some basic settings to get the best performance out of the system before going forward adding more cameras. I want to make sure I understand the basics before getting too big for my britches.

I have 4mp cameras so far running at 24 fps. I have set the record accessory drive to record clips to. Should I 'direct to disk record' or run through BI first? Should I keep the recording mode set to 'triggered' or set it to continuous? Also, does BI automatically overwrite the saved data clips or do I need to enable a setting to make it happen? There are an amazing amount of features with this program and I don't want to just click buttons at random like a simpleton (resisting my basic nature).
