Hi, I have 4 cameras 3 PoE and 1 WiFi , this is about one of the PoE
Cameras as follows with firmware levels
#1 DS-2CD2142FWD-IWS V5.5.0
#2 DS-2DE3304W V5.5.3
#3 DS-2CD2142FWD-I V5.5.0
#4 DS-2CD2185FWD-I V5.5.5
Internally all 4 work fine on iVMS-4200 and IE11 with WebVideoPlugin
Standard ports 80 and 8000
I have mapped router to portforward incoming ports :101 :102 :103 :104 to port 80 on internal ip's
I have mapped router to portforward incoming ports :8001 :8002 :8003 :8004 to port 8000 on internal ip's
Ok so externally here is what we have
All 4 work remotely on iVMS-4500 on an ipad port 8000
All 4 work remotely on ipcamera on an ipad port 80
Cameras #1, #2, #3 work remotely using IE11 with WebVideoPlugin (different PC)
However Camera #4 refuses to show video , instead I get "Live view failed" , I can do most actions on the configurations tab except anything which loads the small video windowm which fails for same reason as live view or Play Back tabs
All my settings are identical on all 4 cameras, checked and double checked.
I have tried reducing the cameras resolution, tried using tcp, http and udp.
You name I tweaked it, then tweaked it back.
I tried several levels of the plugin, right now its on 3.6.33
So the only difference apart from resolution of this camera is the firmware is at V5.5.5
Can I live with it , yes of course. But I'm puzzled why this 1 camera behaves differently remotely.
Any suggestions.
Thanks Alan
