I'm doing a time lapse project in the south land (Los Angeles) and the camera/pc is creating 4gb BVR files.

I'm having to open each one and then exporting them into timelapse videos that end up being about 10k (Significantly smaller).

Is there a way to batch convert into this extremely small output all at once?

I have 2 months so far of 4gb video files (45 gigs a day) - currently 2.25 terrabytes.

And there is no solution.

What a catch 22. BI was the wrong solution... sucks.

Sounds intriguing. Time lapse videos are fun to watch. How are you currently converting the BVR files down to smaller MP4's or so? LA should have a lot of video shops one could contact if time is important?

First of all, if you collected 2 months of video without first ensuring you can use the format you recorded them to, that isn't BI's fault.

You could select multiple clips and right click to batch export them to MP4. BI won't let you use the timelapse option when you export as a batch apparently, but you can at least export without re-encoding which would be relatively fast. Then use ffmpeg or a similar tool to build the timelapse. I'm not sure if you will find a GUI-based tool for this (as ffmpeg is command-line) but I believe ffmpeg will do what you want if you look through its documentation.

FFMPEG will definitely do the time lapse if you have batch converted to a different format. I tried FFMPEG directly on the BVR format, and it wouldn't work on direct-to-disk for H.265 streams, but it kind of worked directly on H.264 streams (although I got some video corruption which might be related to key frames or something else I did wrong it did produce a 10x time lapse MKV and I have 0% with the tool).

However, I think the OP should have a look at FFMPEG, or as @bp2008 mentioned a GUI for that (if they are uncomfortable with command line).

Found out that I could open two instances of BI and process two videos at a time. I wish I had found this out previously but wanted to update this.

As you can see on January 16th I was just leaving ICU (It was a rough 3 weeks) and I'm starting to normalize... best I can explain it lol. Still not doing great.
