I just bought a 1.5" pipe flange from Home depot, I took the mount in the store with me and found the one the mount would screw into the most. Then I coated the threads with Loctite Threadlocker Red 271 and tightened it as tight as I could get it. Between the mount and flange was a section of thread showing, so used a piece of plastic pipe to fill that gap.
I used a 1" hole saw bit, marked my center and drilled, mounted flange with mount and installed camera pushing all wiring into ceiling.I caulked the top of flange before install for added weatherproofing.

How high off the ground is this camera, do you have a electrical out to plug it in or does it get everything it needs through the cat5 or cat6 which ever one you used. Are you using a NVR or a computer with Blue Iris. Thanks for your help.

Nice. I've often wondered if I could get a dahua ptz mounted on my ptz mount for another ptz camera. I'm sure something could be worked out. What camera is that? Seeing as how the plastic bubble domes can get very nasty over the years and can't be cleaned and restored, I'll be avoiding that particular kind of ptz.
