Just upgraded to MacOS Catalina.... now SmartPSS doesn't run! What have I done?
I can't find any new versions - in fact, it seems there hasn't been a new version in years. I hope Dahua haven't abandoned us Mac users (I don't have a windows machine on the premises)

Anyone have a link to the new version or any news?

It's not a 32bit app.... it's been throwing warnings for over a year... Dahua really sucks at MacOS support.
 
I had the same problem. You could try to enter the IP adress of the camera (mine is a Dahua). Then you can install 'Easy Viewer', with the same functionality as Smart PSS.

I have emailed Dahua support. So far no word back from them.
 
Might as well install a Windows virtual machine and install SmartPSS there temporarily; until a release comes out
 

SmartPSS on macOS Catalina

The new version of macOS (10.15, Catalina) comes out in a few days and will no longer support 32-bit apps. The most recent version of SmartPSS I've been able to find is DH_SmartPSS_Eng_Mac_IS_V2.00.0.R.20180507_CodeSign. Unfortunately this is still a 32-bit only app, meaning it won't work for...

Thanks man. Been using SecuritySpy app, but it has no way to view recorded dat, only live view

So, I have the latest version on Catalina and my Macbook pro
I use H265 and I cannot make any video work in SmartPSS or any browser.
It only works with Windows 10 and Internet Explorer. This is very frustrating.

How can I use H265?
