Been a fun week. Mar 28th, we had an Ef2 Tornado pass just south of us by approx 1/8 of a mile. 125 mph max winds, 575 yards at it's widest spot. traveled 5.2 miles. Only two minor injuries reported.
We are fine other than a large limb that broke off, hit the house, busted out a half moon window in our sunroom and damaged some vinyl siding that will need replaced.
We spent some quality time in our shelter/closet. Watching it unfold live on via BI. Afterwards, I don't think the watching live part was wise. I couldn't think straight after it was all over for couple of hours.
We are still finding and cleaning up little shards of glass.

Five different camera angles tell the tale, thanks to backup UPS's on everything.

That was a good one. Really howling for a while there.

Glad you came out of it relatively unscathed.

Missed the patio umbrella the first time... Threaded the needle! lol

Thanks for sharing. That's a lot of mayhem going on in a short amount of time.
Glad you and the misses are okay. That's an added headache you weren't bargaining for.
Figures the highest window breaks with the most unusual shape.
Good luck with the cleanup. On the upside, you have lots of firewood now.

Wow, that was something else!

Glad you were not hurt. Thanks for sharing.

That was a close call. Hope all is well. Cameras really captured the whole event, are you planning to send a clip to local media?
