Hidden Camera Help (Defensive)

I am potentially having an issue with my landlord/roommate trespassing into my room. I want to be sure of this before I make any rash decision such as moving out or potentially pursuing criminal charges. PM me if you want the gory details. The obvious answer would be to put a lock on the door, but on principle I do not want to live with someone if I can't trust my door to be unlocked. I am looking for a camera that I can have inside of my PC case (my tower has a clear sidepanel and stands broadside 'against' the wall) I would prefer it to be wired, and usb powered would be optimal. Preferably it would feed/capture onto my computer's SSD. I prefer wired because with this being an insider threat, I don't want to be crutched on wifi. Any help or gestures in a certain direction would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but you clearly are living with someone you don’t trust.
Low tech is to have the webcams on your computer or tablet always recording. Easier on a tablet to have it record without a tally.
Honestly, add a chime that rings when you open your door, and leave your door shut.
